Progesterone can cause those symptoms. Every month your body goes through a hormone cycle. At the beginning of the month, you will have a higher estrogen level than progesterone. The estrogen encourages your lining to thicken. Another hormone called FSH (follicle stimulating hormone) comes into play right around the end your period ends. FSH encourages your follicles to stimulate and eventually release an egg. Once the egg is released, the estrogen and FSH levels drop and your progesterone level goes up. The progesterone maintains the lining in case an egg is fertilized. If an egg is fertilized and does implant, the HCG hormone (what a pregnancy test measures) is present and will increase about double in measurement every 2.5 to 3 days. If you do not get pregnant, the progesterone will drop. Your lining will break down. Your estrogen will start to increase again starting the cycle over.
All that being said...
Estrogen causes your body to have looser bowl movements and causes your cervical mucous to become slimy and fluid as it increases.
Progesterone may cause you to have constipation, tenders breasts, bloating, nausea, etc... Progesterone surges can mimic pregnancy symptoms.
No cycle is ever the same each month and as we age, woman can become more sensitive to the different hormone levels. I speak from personal experience. If you have missed a period, then you may very likely be pregnant or you may have other things going on, either way you would need to talk to your OBGYN. If you have not missed a period, wait until after you have and retest.
Good luck!
well....did you have unprotected sex recently =) If the answer is yes, then you could be pregnant. Wait a week and test again once your period is late. Best of luck.
First question - is your period late? If it isn't then the pregnancy test may be negative even if you are pregnant. I would wait a few more days or a few days after your missed period and test again. I took a generic test with my second and got a positive. Good Luck!
It's sounds like you could be. I would by another test but not from the dollar store. If it comes back negative again maybe your just not far enough into the pregnancy and should wait a couple of weeks. . My boobs were very tender, fatigue, morning and constipation is what happened to me as well with both of my pregnancies. Good Luck and I hope this helps.

Yes those are all signs of being pregnant. The pregnancy test could show a negative reading because it is too early. I would wait until the end of the month once your period has passed and see if you have it or not then take another test.
Good luck.
Yep, you could be. Do another test in a week.
all of your symptoms can be a signs of pregnancy... have you missed a period or are you late? If not take a deep breath & don't stress over it. Listen to your body. If you are late and don't start within the next couple of weeks I would retest and go to the obygn just to be on the safe side.
