Your body goes through a lot after childbirth. Hormones, exhaustion, among other things can cause all those symptoms. If you think your pregnant the easiest way to know for sure is to pee on a stick. Why wonder????
I dont even know if this is possible... Can you be pregnant and still get your period? My son is 2 1/2 months old and this is my second period since he was born. I got my period on Sunday but before that I thought I was pregnant (and still do). I was getting really sick to my stomach, certain smells almost made me through up. I would get really dizzy. I would feel exhausted after do nothing (and I know its not from having a newborn because my son sleeps through the night). And just yesterday my boobs started hurting. I just don't know what it could be...

It could be that you're having a hormone imbalance. I would check with your midwife or OB. You CAN have periods and be pregnant- I know of two people who had that, but if it's not a "true" period and it's another kind of bleeding, the it could be ectopic, etc.
I would make an appt to find out what is going on since it definitely sounds hormonal whether or not you are pregnant.
Good Luck!!

I would definitely chalk it up to hormones either way. If you do do a HPT be aware that there is still probably a good amount of HcG in your system to give a positive test. Be sure to follow up with your doctor to make double sure. I would say taking a test is probably a good way to answer you question.
I got my period, or so I thought it was! It ended up being a "blood clot" that just drained and I thought it was my period. I knew I was pregnant too so I thought I had a miscarriage. Well now I'm 15 week pregnant! So yes, it does happen!
i got what i thought was my period for three months after i got pregnant. the timing was right when my period would be and it had the same flow and duration as my period. you should buy a home pregnancy test from the drug store; i did not because i was trying not to get my hopes up unnecessarily. my doctor gave me several explanations once i came in to the office so i recommend taking a test since you believe you are pregnant. good luck!
One good way to find out would be to schedule an appointment with your ob/gyn to have a urine or blood test done. Sometimes people who really want to have another baby (not saying that this is you) are able to experience symptoms despite not being pregnant. You could be spotting while pregnant, but highly unlikely that you'd have a full-blown period. A test performed by your physician is your best bet.
Go grab a pregnancy test. I have to tell you after the births of both my girls I felt strange and hormonal for MONTHS afterward!
