Does anyone have a referral for a good Cosmetic Dentist near Glenview? I am self conscious about my smile and am considering veneers or lumineers. I do not know much about the process, so please feel free to give any feedback to help in my fact finding. Thank you!

My dentist is in Glenview and I love him. I know the practice does cosmetic dentistry - but I not sure which dentist would be the best. Try Colonial Dental Group. (my dentist is A. Quezada). Good luck!

Hi H., I wish I had asked this question and that someone had been honest with me before I got veneers. Veneers are not a permanent solution. They usually need to be replaced every 10 years. Insurance does not pay for them. The veneers can crack or fall off. It is extremely embarrassing when this happens b/c your real tooth underneath is filed down to a pointy little spike. It can take time to have another veneer made to replace it. I have had 3 different dentists give me my veneers, each time getting better. Dentists use different labs to make the veneers, some labs are better than others. Some dentists are more "artistic" and skilled than others. Make sure you see very good pictures of actual patients before you agree to any work! The before & after pictures in an office are usually marketing posters that the dentist buys and are not actual patients. If I had to do it again, I would have had braces. Good luck!
