My 91 year-old mother-in-law is hosting Thanksgiving dinner this year for about 10 people.
She likes to order out her cornbread dressing and gravy. She has gone to three places
for a taste test and was displeased with all. Any suggestions for a restaurant or caterer
would be very welcomed. Thank you and HAPPY THANKSGIVING. I hope you all have
much to be grateful for.
Luby's is her last go-to when all else fails. She is big on Luby's but Dallas should have
much to offer. I refrain from mentioning the three she has tried because they all have

Does no one in the family cook? Homemade is so much better than takeout, especially gravy! We have around fifty people for Thanksgiving and the only store bought things are a couple of desserts. The rest of the meal is potluck and to die for :-)

Is she super picky or why does she not like what she's tasted? Maybe she can get a personal chef or have a friend make and extra batch for her?
Find a black owned soul food spot. We tend to do dressing, not stuffing. I love your G.! "Just Oxtails" is a soul food joint in Houston not too far from Sugarland.
