T.S.
My husband has everything too. I usually get him tickets to a concert or a show, or a sporting event. Present and date night all in one, win win!
She needs some creative ideas for gifts.
He has everything. Can buy himself anything. Does not have any hobbies. Is very techie but has everything.
I have some ideas, albeit very limited, but thought I'd ask all of you creative moms for something different.
She's taking him out to dinner w/friends but what else? For once, I drew a blank!

For something different and perhaps quirky - check out the website:
uncommongoods.com - they have some cute things there.
I would also plan something different to do - go kart racing, take him to a race track where you can take racecars for a drive at 100 mph! I once bought my husband a few golf lessons. A popular thing now too is to have a wine and painting date. No artistic skills are required!
Good Luck!
Tell her to write him a poem.
Not copying a poem. Writing one, herself.
Then frame it in a nice frame.
I did that for my Hubby once.
He really loved it.
It didn't "cost" me anything.
But it is more meaningful.
If they drink, I always find a really nice or unique bottle of their favorite is appreciated.
My husband is super into camping gear right now and so anything related to outdoors is a hit.
Or get him tools. Men love tools, and if she has a project around the house she's been wanting done, get him the tools to do it. Everybody wins!
Sounds similar to my husband. I got him tickets to Blue Man Group a few years ago and he loved it. They are touring California right now.
Ask your friend about what her husband's take would be on "PASSING IT FORWARD"? After a nice dinner with family and friends how would he feel about getting certificate that says something like:
On behalf of my wonderful husband and father, the >>>>>>> family proudly donates to the >>>>>>>> organization.
It could be anything such as the: Ronald McDonald House, St. Jude, Cancer Society, Women's Shelter, Senior Center, Homelessness, etc...what ever would be most near and dear to HIS heart.
Do they have kids? Get a nice pic taken of them, and put it in a nice frame for work?
