Can anyone recommend good consignment stores to find chidren's clothing at? What age ranges would they have? Are there any good consignment or thrift stores you would recommend for adult clothing or teenagers?

I like to go to Angel Babies in Olathe. It is at Santa Fe & Murlen, in The Cove by Price Chopper.
For teens you can check out Plato's Closet - we go to the one at 135th and Quivira but they have locations all over. Here is a website to find a location near you www.platoscloset.com They have great deals and they are very particular about what they except so you know the clothes are in very good used condition.

My vote for adult women or teen girls clothes is Mary Margaret. There's one in Lees Summit and I love it! They have sales every week, one week all the skirts will be 20% off and another shoes, etc. They have alot of formal wear too, I got a beautiful evening gown for only $15. We have a thrift shop on 3rd street in Lees Summit that I've had good luck in finding nicer things. My favorite thing is garage sales, you cant beat the prices and you can find really nice things if you have the time to shop. Good Luck!
I go to Recycled Kid in Overland Park (11686 W. 135th Street), which carries clothing from birth to size 16 in both boys and girls. She also carries furniture, shoes (always at half price), toys, maternity clothing, etc. She has sale racks and gives a discount when you pay cash. You can't pass it up!
Then, I go to the Just Between Friends sales in the spring and fall at both the Overland Park International Trade Center and at the Speedway. It's amazing what you can find at these type of sales, as it is the people like you and me that are consigning in them.

I can't believe no one mentioned Children's Orchard in Lee's Summit and Olathe (there M. be other's but these are the two I know) They have lots of great used kid's clothes, some have tags attached. Also Lee's Summit also has a place called Wild Child just off 291 & 350 hwy, it has a more name brand and upscale clothes. I can't go into either one without spending close to $100, but I come out with so much with what I've spent. I have 7 grandkids to buy for! Wild Child also has great shoe's.
