I'm kind of confused. Is he out to sea now? How did you get the note?

When came home from being overseas for 10 months, my husband took me to a cabin in the woods to watch the meteor showers. I was jet lagged, so I was up all night. The setting was relaxing and beautiful and perfect. But that's what worked for me. If he's been alone or isolated while at sea, that might be the last thing he'd like.

I'm assuming he is out to sea for a few days at a time?

Next time, before he leaves, you could also tuck some little notes in places he would find them... but.... be careful on what you put on them (or where you put them)... if a co-worker got hold of them, that may end up with some razzing..... he might enjoy seeing those little notes from time to time.

I think he will appreciate the luxuries of home the most. Great home cooked meals, a warm and cozy bed, downtime with you and your kids.....and might I add some hotness in the bedroom. Hell, my husband is a corporate guy and an Engineer and I can have him right where I want him 24/7 by doing all these things. Men love this! I think that note was a really sweet thing that he did and guys are very responsive to the little things in life that bring them comfort. I'm telling you.....a good meal, some comfy TV time, his nice cozy bed, and a hot night with his sexy wife. They will choose this every time over material things. Men are seriously easy to please. It's us ladies that are the high maintenance ones! LOL.....it's true!

A really good, elaborate home cooked meal. If you are not a good cook, order in his favorites and put them in your pots to make it feel like its home cooked. Have loads of snacks, popcorn, nuts, cheese and chocolates. Have some great wine or beer, whatever he likes and spend the entire weekend on the sofa with TV, music, candles. He probably just wants some 'you' time.
