Colorado Fires - Boxes for Donations

Ok mommas, we need your help. Where can I find a place that may donate boxes? My husband is taking a load of donations from Dallas to Denver for the Colorado relief efforts. This is all coordinated thru the Denver BSA. We have been blessed with a lot of donations, but now we need boxes. Are there places that would donate boxes for a charitable cause?

What can I do next?

Try Sam's Club, WalMart, Costco, and other local grocery stores, Malls etc - they typically have boxes up the ying yang and are willing to give them if you ask.

I agree about asking grocery stores. They get shipments on certain days of the week and have tons of boxes. Also what about UPS stores? Or storage facilities too. Maybe they would be willing.

Look on Craigslist as well my SIL got hers on their. You could post a wanted for donation post on there and in the paper too.

Good luck and I think its wonderful your doing what you can to help out!

We often need boxes for shipping and/or storing. I have found with Walmart (late night restocking) that I am able to find all sizes of boxes. The Sterlite boxes are the best and sturdy. I also check the linen section as they have nice size boxes. They restock almost every night but I have found that Monday nights and Thursday nights seem to be more boxes available. Hope this helps.
