I've done a Master Cleanse, gotten a colonic (sp?) by a specialist, and drank "Chinese Dieter's Tea". I've also heard there are different drinks at the health food store that are great, but I've never tried them. The master cleanse takes the most discipline. Like the previous reader said, you need to cleanse your liver. It's good to do a salad diet for a couple of days beforehand. Then it's really about drinking lots and lots of fluids. The colonic was torture for me. My friend raves about them. She doesn't mind the tube stuck up her butt and says she has an after glow afterward. The tube in the butt was very uncomfortable for me. Then your laying on your back they pump fluid into your colon until you say stop and you "move" some old stuff out. It was very uncomfortable (like having 24 hour flu sensations) and I was moaning while on my back with a stranger. I, personally, will never do that again, but like I said my girlfriend loves em. The dieter's tea is the easiest for me. I find it, here in Hawaii, in the Chinese food section. I know it got real popular and was marketed that celebrities used it. It is sometimes sold for like $40. under a different name, but in the grocery store its only $3. It's an unassuming looking tea box that is usually orange or green, says Dieter's Tea, and has a person doing a yoga position on it. Let me tell you, it packs a punch. If I drink one cup, I'll go to the bathroom about 3 times within the next 24 hours. Just make sure you are near a toilet that is somewhat private.
