R.-
I work in the healthcare field and, unfortunately, see cancer on a daily basis. Your father definitely has the signs and symptoms of colon cancer, and colon cancer is a type of cancer that follows a hereditary path. The number one way to fight cancer is to catch it in the early stages so that it is treatable. Have him call the doctor TODAY!!! I see that you live in Wyoming, so if he is also in the area, I would suggest getting the ok from his primary to take him into the ER. (If he doesn't live in the area, have another family member or friend take him.) More than likely, they will take all of the blood tests and scans to give you the answers that you need. They may admit him, or give you the info to contact surgeons and oncologists on Tuesday. I strongly recommend surgeon Matthew Chung (he operates at Spectrum) and oncologist Enrico Sobong, but there are definitely others in the area that are also good. Seriously, the longer he waits, the faster it will spread, the harder it will be to treat. Good luck, I will be thinking of you!
