Fabulous.....I use Fuzzibunz. My husband doesn't like to help out with them as much as he did with the disposables. I hear that a lot from other moms. He'll still change a diaper, but he doesn't like to do the laundry part.

When they are an infant the poop isn't even an issue. When you get to the point when their poop gets hard, I suggest a flushable liner. Then you just flush the poop. Makes it much easier.

I use them with my little guy and am a fan. It saves money in the long run and is better for the environment. I would suggest going to your local cloth diapering store to get all info you need. They are really helpful and a lot places offer classes. I use Bumgenius 4.0 and am happy with my choice. They grow with the baby so you don't need to keep buying different sizes!

Used mine for both kids and loved it. It's is a *bit* more work than disposables, but was worth it for me on several levels. It's also kind of addicting with all the cute patterns out there on the covers!

I use them.
LOVE them.
I have never looked back.

They are worth the investment.
If you take good care of them they can last through 2-3 kids.
Give it a shot- you won't be disappointed!

Used them on all three kids, LOVED them! I also used a diaper service because it was so reasonably priced. Cloth diapered babies get fewer rashes and generally potty train earlier. I occasionally used disposables (when traveling) but I always thought they were gross, all that weird liquid absorbing gel stuff.

I used them and I love them!
I use a mix of just about every kind of diaper that's out there. When I would find a diaper on sale, I'd buy it just to see if I liked it.

I sell them for a living, and I am warning you that you will become overly obsessed with them :) I did disposables with my first and wanted another option... So I tried them!! There is a type for everyone and every budget, I've practically tried them all!! I work for the Giggling Green Bean here in Denver, give us a call sometime and check out our website!! I am not sure of stores in CA, but hopefully you will find some local places to look at them!!

My daughter who had her baby in January loves cloth diapers. Here - and I imagine where you live as well - there are stores that specialize in various types of cloth diapers and all the stuff that goes along with them.

I am delighted that cloth diapers are making a comeback.

Like them alot--much cheaper and better for the environment. I will warn you they are easy to get addicted to in terms of wanting to buy more than you truly need and some of super pricey too. I like plain old prefolds and pul covers. Prefolds are generally a buck or two and the covers are less than 10 dollars each. There are also tons of sites on how to clean them and strip them and troubleshoot them if you google it.

I have been using them for 3 years now. We use Bum Genius and Softbums...I love softbums for the day time. They are the slimmest cloth diaper I have found, however they are not good overnight diapers. If you want to try them out I would find a store near you that does trial packages. They do one month trials where you can try different kinds of CD and see which ones you like. Initially its wierd to clean poop off a diaper, but now when I see my friends throw poop filled diapers in their garbages I get grossed out...poop goes in the toilet, not the garbage!

I used them for a while and loved them. I used mainly Fuzzi Bunz but would use anything. For the insert, I did find that the microfiber towels could be used instead of the inserts from Fuzzi Bunz. I got them in the auto section of Walmart (blue & white). I did get a bunch of diapers off craigslist for cheap.
Clothe diapers are awesome no matter how long you use them bc it's one less diaper in the landfill. However, I will say it takes commitment to use them the entire time your child is in diapers.
