Cleaning Leather Steering Wheel

I got a steering wheel cover for mine. And, I use baby wipes when I do clean it. (Cover doesn't cover all the way around.) The leather steering wheel will dry and crack faster than the other stuff because you are constantly touching it/ rubbing it. I suggest buying the cover to help keep it in good shape should you want to consider reselling or trading in your vehicle. Oh, and, the black will eventually stop, it is just dirty. (yes, ick! lol!)

The Armor All wipes make my steering wheel kind of sticky. Have you tried saddle soap or Murphy's Oil Soap?

Hi S.! I did the same thing you did and found that the black marks on the wipe were actually part of the leather steering wheel cover coming off! Those wipes ruined my steering wheel. Since that day it has been sticky and discolored.
Next time I am going to use soap and water.

someone once mentioned pledge was good for the inside of the car. Never went back to armoral. I love pledge.
