I have the brown faux suede couches and chairs. Does anyone know how to clean the part that you can't take off and wash?

Looking for a safe product/method.

Thanks

my off white micro suede cleans up with a cloth and water. From pen marks, to Dorito hands, ice cream, and green frosting. I have only resorted to product when my husband spilled red wine on it. And I would never ever put any part of it in the wash, even if I could.

We are shopping for couches that are microsuede (cat proof?!) and I asked the salespeople in several stores how they could be cleaned. All of them so far have recommended professional steam cleaning.

I have the same kind/color couches. I take the cushion covers off and throw them right in the washer on gentle cycle...and use hot soapy (clothing detergent; not a lot) water and a cloth on the parts that don't come off. Works great! Have done it many times.
