How much do you spend on a birthday gift for a classmate of your child?
My son is 7 and goes to soooo many Birthday parties. I usually max out at $15.00 and have him make the card.
I usually spend about $20. My son just had a class party in January and the gifts ranged from $10 - $25.
Usually $10-15. If it is a good friend I may go closer to $20.
I would say it depends upon how close your child is to the other. Do they play together alot? Is your child good friends or not?
I would go in the ballpark of $10 - $25, depending on what the toy is and the relationship with my child.
My daughter has received presents that average about $15-20 value at her last two birthday parties. I generally spend about the same, but I certainly am not upset or offended at getting a present that costs less. I felt awkward when she received a present that was worth more ($50) once.
We usually spend $15-$20.
Is the child having a party? If so I say $20 or less.
If there is no party then $10 is enough.
Also depends on how close this classmate is to your child.
as much as you feel comfortable with there is no set price if she is a friend spend a little more if not a little just make sure it is aomething the chiid can use A. no hills
I would say $10 if it's a good friend or $5 if it's just an aquaintance.
Usually 10 dollars. I will sometimes buy gifts at Target that are on clearance for as low as 5 dollars and put them away. If I don't have anything away that works, I usually buy something around 10 and no more than 15.
