I sent my OB and son's pediatrician a card when he was born. They both took a lot of time with me, and eased my fears. My OB actually delivered my son via c-section. She saw him before I did! ( i was knocked out) They enjoyed them so much.
Hi! I was just wondering if any of you were sending a christmas card of your little darlings to your Ob? I'm def sending one to our pedi, but was thinking about my dr. I have spent A LOT ;-) of time in their office! He is the only Dr I go to. I was pregnant for 2 straight years for cryin' out loud :-) anyway!!! I'm close with him & his nurse. He delivered our first baby and was supposed to deliver the second (however our sweetie pants numero dos had other plans) Just wanted to see what you guys thought..
as always....thanks a bunch!!!
very helpful!! Thanks so much ladies!! And Happy Holidays of course!!

If you are close to them and know they celebrate...why not. Otherwise, perhaps a Holiday card would work better.
I give Christmas cards to a lot of random people, besides friends and family. Hopefully they all appreciate it. :)
There are bulletin boards in all of my ob's exam rooms. The boards are filled with photos and photo cards sent by patients of their children. I enjoy looking at them as I sit there with my feet dangling off the table. :) Clearly sending photos is not uncommon.
I sent one to my midwives for the first few years after my kids were born. (I had 3 kids in 4 years).

The only time I've ever sent mine a card was when we did Christmas card/birth announcements for our youngest. I do know they get TONS of them though -so it's certainly not out of the norm to do it!
Yep! We're sending them to our Ped. and OB that we moved away from. Without my OB, I would NOT have children and our Ped. was AMAZING with my daughters. My oldest wants to be a doctor "like, Dr. Sarah."
My OB/GYN (a man) & his office, literally gets TONS of Christmas cards each year from his patients and from the families of the babies he delivered.
And they put them up along the walls in the corridor.
Yeah, I love my OB! If I could go to him for everything I totally would so I make sure to not only send a card, but I make a giant plate of cookies and deliver them to his office. He is only a practice of one, so it makes it a little easier on my part that a few dozen will go a long way there, but they are much appreciated and if I don't see him when I'm in he has personally called me and thanked me in previous years. I love him! And I love spreading Christmas joy, even though he's Jewish! ;) At least I always say Happy Hanukkah and cookies are universal right?!
If I have a genuine affection for a physician's office, then I do send a card (and have done so).
Oh yes, I did that for several years. Your doctor will appreciate it!
