Chlorine and My Poor Colored Hair...

Are there any products that you all know of that are good at getting chlorine out of your color treated hair? My daughter's hair dresser told me not to use any old chlorine shampoo because it will strip any color out of it. This going everyday to the pool is killing my poor hair!

What can I do next?

My mom is a cosmetologist and we used Aloe rid by nexxus, or if we didn;t have that we just used vinegar.

There is a product made for colored hair and chlorine. You can get it at Sally's Beauty supply. I have forgotten the name but the people at Sally's can help you.

Hey M. I dont know what color your hair is but I have natural blond and when there's too much chlorine in the pool it turns green I just get Lemo Juice from the store and let it sit in my hair when i take a shower and it gets the green out. Good luck. I hope you find something.

My hair dresser told me to wet my hair with tap water before I get into chlorinated water. This way, your hair doesn't soak up the chlorine.
