my 16 month old has small red sores on his tongue.. any idea what this is and should i call my doc
thanks for all the input! his school called today saying how uncomfortable his mouth was. yesterday the docs nurse told me to just watch it. today i called back because he won't he much and has begun to get tiny dots on his feet. so tomorrow we are seeing the doc.

It can be 1 of many things!I would call my doctor just to be sure!! They will ask: How long he has had them, Spots any place else on the body, any fever,etc. You need to call, if for no other reason than your peace of mind! Good Luck!!
it wouldn't hurt to call the doctors office and ask to speak to a nurse. He/She can tell you whether it is necessary to come in. Any fever or stomach pain? If yes, get to doc for sure.

I would call the doc... It could be thrush.
sounds like it could be yeast infecton. Has he been on any antibiotics? Somethimes this causes that. Sounds like you should check it out with a Dr.
