Hello, I am wondering if anyone has enrolled their toddler in the parent-tot classes at Gymquest in Naperville. I have been unhappy with Naperville Gymanstics Club and was looking to switch over. Anyone that has had good/bad experiences that they would share with me would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!!

What can I do next?

What don't you like about the Naperville Gymnastics club? I was just thinking about signing up for the I'm Big 2 class with my toddler. Any feedback would be helpful.

We found a great place in Downers Grove called Premiere Gymnastics. It is a real gymnastics gym just like Naperville but a little less crowded. My three year old and I go to the parent tot class on Saturdays and she loves it.

gymquest is actually in plainfield. the parent tot program rocks. i had my daughter in it at 14 months. as long as the child is walking, and at least 12 months old, she will be fine. my daughter had learned so much and had so much fun. they have songsg that are movement coordinated, and learn so much. just be prepared for your child o do this all the time, even when at home! she still tries to do seat drops on the living room floor!
ps, i work there, so i know it is a good place.

Hi Lindsey -
Both of my daughters were at GymQuest last summer, one in the Parent/Tot class and one in the preschool class (same night and time which made it easier for us). They both loved it and loved the teachers. We ended in the fall because my older daughter was going to move up to the kindgergarten class and it wasn't going to be the same night and time with the Parent/Tot and it was too hard to get there two nights a week instead of just the one. I don't know if the same instructors are still around, I had my younger daughter's birthday party there in September and wasn't so impressed anymore... Good luck!

We have two daughters who are now 7 and 8. When they were 3 and 4, or 4 and 5, we used Gymquest in Lisle, which is now no longer at the location we used, but we were very happy with Gymquest. I am an older mom who wasn't ready to do the gymnastics overboard, and they do a very nice job with the kids and make it fun! I overheard some other moms talking there, about a place in Naperville which was notorious for the gymnastics "overboard", and when I heard of teenage girls with broken bones, hips, etc., I was horrified! Gymquest is a recreational gymnastics, but are professional enough to identify a talent if one arises.

I am not sure if you live in Naperville, but the Fox Valley Park District (Eola location) actaully has an awesome gymnastics program. They start at parent tot and go all the way through high school. They have a whole big gym with lots of equipment and all at reasonable prices. My son and husband attended these classes and he loved them. The supervisor of the program is great along with her staff. They are all VERY knowledgable and very great with the kids. Hope this helps!
