Another option is a church program. There are several in Allen that offer 2, 3, or 5 days a week programs and are very affordable. You don't have to be a member of the church or even a participant of that certain religion.

check into enannysource.com for nannies that could work part time. There are plenty of college students getting their early education degrees who would love the experience and be able to work around a part time schedule with their school, etc. Especially with so many schools not hiring for teachers right now, they're looking for work!

I too was going to suggest a church program. They will have programs with shorter hours (like 9a-2p) and either 2, 3, or 5 days a week. Most daycares will be full days 5 days a week. I send my son to Custer Road Methodist and he LOVES it there.

there is a website called care.com. This is a great site because you can list your needs, days you need someone, part time, full time, what your rates will be and your requirements. Once you post what you are looking for you will receive emails from ladies that fit that requirement and are interested in the position. You will then be able to have quite a few you can chose from. They have all had background checks and references on file and are all in your area. I post there as a part time sitter myself and it is a great site and I have gotten some amazing clients and it works because you don't have to explain over and over again what your expectations are and you know the person responding knows up front what you are looking for.
