Hi
Are you wanting a chicken fettucinie alfredo recipe? If so this is the one I use. My kids love it!!
I either grill or bake the chicken. Cook 12oz bag of noodles. The sauce is:
2 cups whipping cream
8oz sour cream
8oz parmasian cheese
2tsp garlic salt
1/2tsp black pepper
1/2 stick of butter
1tsp parsley (optional)
Cook on low heat
(=
This is an excellent recipe. I hope you enjoy it...
3 cloves fresh garlic (minced) 2 Tbsp. butter
1 pkg cooked fettucine noodles 8oz. fresh Parmesan Cheese
1 pt whipping cream String cheese(pkg of 4)
Parsley (optional)
Saute garlic in butter. Add whipping cream. When hot, add Parmesan and continue stirring until it starts to thicken a little. Add cooked noodles and mix well. Turn into baking dish. String the string cheese and stick the pieces down into the noodles. Bake @ 350 until hot and bubbly. You add chicken if you want.
My family doesn't even ask to go Olive Garden anymore. I use garlic powder and canned Parmesan and it still tastes good. I also make a batch of just the alfredo sauce for dipping. Enjoy!
I make a recipe that is soooo easy and my family loves! I use the frozen chicken breasts. Cut them up and saute in olive oil along with chopped onion and chopped bell pepper (or use seasoning blend from the freezer section). When the onions are clear and the chicken is done, add a jar of Ragu alfredo sauce. Put about 3/4 cup of milk in the Ragu jar to get all the sauce out. I then cut up about 1/4 lb. of velveeta cheese into chunks and add it to the sauce. When the cheese melts, the sauce is done. Cook fettucine noodles and serve over them.
You can cut up fresh broccoli to add to this as well. Serve with french bread and a green salad, and it's a very easy and delicious meal!
easy recipe... i take 2 table flour, 2 table butter or margarine.. melt butter add flour-- mix well .. add 1 1/2 cups of whole milk or light cream.. add chicken pieces and cheese to taste (like parm cheese, a little garlic powder, pepper.. you can even add peas..you can double the recipe... you can add any type of seasoning that you like.. good luck.. it's great for leftovers... sometimes i add 1/2 cup chicken broth.. for flavoring..
I have one though I don't really know actual measurements for it lol. I use olive oil in a skillet and cook my chicken in bite-sized pieces with some garlic and salt or I throw it on the grill to cook. Sometimes if I'm in a hurry I use the prepackaged Alfredo noodles x2 and add 2 blocks of creme cheese, 2 bags of Parmesan shredded cheese, some milk or cream, and butter until its at a creamy consistency. If you want to do it your self just get the noodles, add the same but you have to season more with garlic and salt or what ever you like. Then mix it all together and let it cook on low a while, then sprinkle a little dry shredded Parmesan over the top. It is very simple either way and Ive had lots and lots of compliments on it. Sorry I can't be more exact with the recipe.
I swear by www.allrecipes.com as a place to get great recipes. They have reviews written by regular cooks who have tried the recipes. Many of the reviews list adjustments that various cooks have made to the recipes. If you join (free for the basic membership), you can save recipes to your own recipe box on the site.
Alfredo Sauce:
1 pint heavy cream
1 stick butter
1/2 package cream cheese
3/4 cup parmesan cheese
1 tsp. garlic powder
Pan sear chicken and cook the noodles to package instructions. While doing this bring heavy cream and butter to a boil over medium heat. Reduce heat to low and add the cream cheese, parm. cheese and garlic powder. continue to simmer until all ingredients melt and combine together. Salt and pepper to taste.
My family loves it!
Looks like you've gotten some great recipes. If you want a healthier alternative (and it tastes great and all my kids will eat) go to kraftfoods.com and search for smarter fettuccine alfredo. For the chicken we just grill it and I like to throw some broccoli in too.
Good luck!
