Which one do you think is the best cell phone plan? I would rather have a cheaper plan and limited time? Thank you.

What can I do next?

D.,

I have Verizon because of their coverage and where I go AND because my family (dad, sister, brother, etc.) are on Verizon.

We tried T-Mobile - my husband couldn't get service in our metro tunnels. Verizon did. We tried AT&T - coverage sucked at the time as well as the rates.

Now? TODAY? I don't know if I would change or not. There's a lot to consider - phone, coverage, cost, etc. If you are looking for a temporary plan? then I would go with a pay as you go. If you need a phone like I do for business? Go for stability.

It all depends on where you need to use the phones. Where I live (fairly rural) I don't have many choices. Even AT&T doesn't have consistent (or sometimes ANY) service at my house. A mile up the road? Yes. But not at my house.
We have Verizon, b/c I can reliably, consistently get good service within the walls of my home. AND all the places that I go and might need to use the phone.

Who cares how cheap a plan you manage to find, if you can't use it? That may not be an issue for some people, if you live in a highly populated area. But for those of us who don't, we are stuck with who WORKS.

The most important factor, IMO, is not how many minutes/texts/GB of data. It is where you need to get service. If you stay almost entirely in large metro areas, then there are many inexpensive plans - look at T-Mobile, Cricket, and local companies.

If you travel to rural areas, then you need to find a national plan (eg, Verizon, ATT) with more extensive coverage and that is going to cost more. But it doesn't do any good to have available minutes if there are no cell towers around in your plan to connect to.

There are tons of plans out there. We can't tell you which is best for you.

Google and compare different plans.

We use ATT

Go to the U S Cellular site and check out their plans. I've had excellent service for years.
