Previous Gen (aka the 3g) iPhone (the brand new one still has kinks)
I was just given on for my anniversary, and it ROCKS. Added bene: it only cost us $100.
Hi Moms, I'm due for a new cell phone next month. I'm looking for one that has great picture and video capability. I'm a SAHM and like to send pics/videos to my husband for good laughs or smiles during the day. Any suggestions??
Thank you!

I love my iphone....it's simple to use (and I am not very savvy with most of those things). It takes great video and it's easy to download it if you want to save video/pics! My step-daughter also has the Droid which operates a little differently but has just about the same options.
We have IPhones (NOT THE NEWEST VERSION). My daughter uses hers all the time with friends, etc and it's great.
They are great!!
I also think it is very cool of you to send little "happies" to your hubby during the day. I do that too.... It keeps things spicy!
Can't really help other than to say Blackberries have the WORST camera's!!!
I have Sprint..and have the HTC EVO 4G..for aobut 2 mos now..since release weekend (it was my birthday gift!) I love it and do alot of pics and videos on it. GThe camera is the same quality as my little handheld camera (a Sony)..I love it!
I'm no techie, lol, but I think my phone has pretty good photo/video capabilities. I have an LG nv3. Not the touch one, but it might be just as good or better. I don't know. Never used one of them.
I have taken panoramic photos of rainbows in the sky and bluetoothed them to my imac computer wirelessly. I have videoed my daughter taking her first private Tang Soo Do lesson. And many other things, including photos at the beach at dusk. The pictures come out great! You can make tons of adjustments to them as well, more than a lot of point and shoot cameras! Adjust the lighting, flash, day/night, indoor/outdoor, people/object settings, etc.
The phone works pretty good too. :)
I love my Droid.
But really it depends on which carrier you have for which selection you have to choose from.
We have Verizon and got ours on our new every two for, two droids for $100.
Blackberry's are great. Also, my husband just got an HTC Evo. We have sprint. Verizon has the Droid which is very similar.
Depending on who your provider is....I love my EVO (Sprint). It is the iPhone killer. Pics are 8MG and videos you can edit on the phone. Super, Super fast response to everything. Good Luck!
