My daughter recently had an accident with a ceiling fan, but she is doing fine now. Thank you all for your advice. I don't know how to delete my request.

I hear so many horror stories about this happening and even know of a lady who my mom works with that her husband killed their grandaughter when this happened to them. She passed away immediately.

Call you pedi because you can never be too careful. I hope she is OK.

Take her to the Dr. She could be bleeding internally.

Hi,

I think you should have this checked out by your pediatrician and maybe have x-rays, just to be on the safe side.

Hi J.,

My girlfriends husband did the same thing to her little girl. She had a huge bump on her head but everything was fine.

As far as the concussion, it's always better to be on the safe side. I would take your daughter in, if nothing else it will give you and her Grandpa some peace of mind.

Best Wishes,
Good morning DeAna,

I would/have checked the carseats like luggage before, wrapped in a garbage bag. Even if you "gate check" most likely the car seat will end up below with all the other luggage.

Let the steward/stewardess know this is the first time your little ones are flying they have a cute little certificate and flying wings to give you for their scrap book.

Good luck and have a wonderful trip!

Have you taken her to see a doctor? If not, I would recommend doing so right away--just to make sure.

I don't think that a fever can come from a head injury, but I am not a doctor. If it was a couple of nights ago, I am more apt to say that this is a seperate incident. Perhaps she is getting a cold or something. You probably want to call the doctor anyway just to be sure.

Call your pedi. You can't be too careful with head injuries.

Our daughter hit her head pretty severly not too long ago and the same thing happened... she showed no signs of major injury, but she did run a fever for a few days. We took her to the Dr. just to be on the safe side and it turns out that there has been a virus going around. So, maybe it is just a coincidence, but I would definitely take her to the to have the fever checked out. Hope everything turns out okay! :)
