Your going to need a minivan not a car to fit that many carseats.. looks for 1 that seats 9 or has 2 rows of bench seating behind the front seats
I have a carpool in which I need to drive 6 children, preschool through second grade. What car would be a good solution? Is there a car out there that will comfortably fit 6 carseats?

I looked up North Carolina car seat laws and kids at this age can be in boosters and those will fit in most vehicles. If they are still in car-seats (the pre-schoolers) then those can be spaced with boosters in between or beside. Boosters take up much less space, even the ones that have backs on them. They are just narrower. You will still need a suburban or larger vehicle like a Tahoe. One with full size seats will be the most room. A Suburban can fit 8 full size adults comfortably.
I used to do this as well, All of them where in booster seats, the 1's with no backs on them as all of them at the time where in 1st and 2nd grade and could be in them! At the time I had a mini-van which came in handy. It fit 7 with the passenger front seat was 8 but none of them could sit there cause that is the law cause at that time I lived in IL! The mini-van I had was a Pontiac Montana which I loved cause it had a button that I pushed and it opened the sliding door and all of them knew how to buckle up and unbuckle themselves so they all just went out the door and I watched them get in line and off I went.(There was a drive circle you got into at their school for drop off and pick up)! I loved that van, but after I didn't need it anymore and gas prices started going up I traded it in...Sorry for going on lol, Just good memories with "my kids"! I babysat them as well lol....
