Can anyone recommend a Cardiologist in the Frisco, Plano area? I am new to town and have been having chest pains for three weeks. I hope it's just anxiety, but it's on the left side. I'm also having sharp pains in my neck and shoulders. I am only 39 so this is concerning to me.
Thank you in advance!!

What can I do next?

Dr. Kennedy at Legacy Heart Center in Plano. My mother sees him and he is fabulous! But I have heard from others as well that ALL the doctors at the Legacy Heart Center are great.

Go to the ER. It is easiers to forgive and treat anxiety than to lose precious heart muscle. Either way your pain should subside.

Forget the cardiologist. Go to the ER and get checked out before you stroke out! It sounds like you might have a blockage in an artery in your neck! They will get you to a cardiologist straight away after they look at you.

You are only 39 - you have lots of life ahead of you, if you don't have a heart attack or stroke first. So go already - stop waiting!!!!

Please get yourself checked out. My father had a heart attack in his mid 30s. Before my Grandmother died suddenly, she had been complaining of "stiffness" in her arm. My mother experienced an upset stomach and nausea, which ended up heart related. Don't ignore the warning signs. I don't want to scare you, But many people do not survive a first heart attack. Wouldn't you feel better knowing it's nothing?

Your regular physician can give you an EKG as well, because I was experiencing heart palpatations a few months ago.

My cardi is in Dallas at the Heart center at Baylor, He is really good, if you want his info, you can send me a message and I can give it to you. But first you might want to get with a family physician and just get an EKG done, and be seen. Alot of times, specialist want you to be refered to them, so you dnot come in if you dont have to. Good luck.
