Congratulations on #3!!! I think some of the newer infant seats have a smaller profile or at least the base maybe? Definietely try them and return them if they don't work.
Ok mamas, I have a pretty big dilemma concerning my car situation come March when my 3rd is due. My other 2 kids are still in seats...my 3 year old in a forward facing seat, and the 6 year old is in a booster seat. We have a Subaru Outback, which we thought was spacious, however we aren't sure we'll be able to fit a infant carrier/seat. Do they have smaller carseats, or do we really have to buy a bigger car? We just don't know what to do...do any of you with 3 in carseats have a smaller car? If not, do you have any suggestions for cars that will work that don't cost a lot or are huge gas hogs? Thanks!

My daughter has a trailblazer. She has twins duaghters in rear facing seats and a 6 yr. old son in a booster seat. It is crowded but it works for now.
I'm surprised you haven't had any responses because this question has come up before. What I remember reading was that their are smaller seats. Others have found a way to make it work.
Looking up the previous posts might help you.
Another idea is to call the fire station and ask them. Most fire stations help to install seats.
you should be able to make it work, just don't be afraid to buy a seat and return it. Graco snugride infant seats are tiny IMO, I have a saturn outlook, 1 in a rear facing seat and 1 in an infant seat and 3 bigger kids and it works. I could easily fit another carseat in the second row if I didn't need to be able to use the third row.
