my son knocked over a lit candle which made candle wax spill on my bathroom tile and on the walls, does anyone know any way i can clean it off. i tried scraping the floor with a spachula and that helped alittle but not enough. any tricks would really help me out. it is a mess!!
thankyou to all that responded. i actually used the boiling water and ironed over it with a paper bag, it worked great not only that but my bathroom is a lot cleaner in that area.
Their this stuff called goof off its for candle wax and gum....and a whole lot more you can buy it at just about any store...
Sol-u-Mel is an amazing product! It cleans up candle wax, ink stains, cosmetics, etc..... It's truly a miracle cleaning product.
I know to get wax out of a tea light holder or a wax fragrance burner you freeze, so maybe Ice will help. Through an ice pack over it for 5 minutes and see if it scares off then.

Take a paper towel snd place it over the wax. Now iron the papertowel. Continue with ironing and changing paper towels until wax is gone. Melting it is the key. This works great on carpets too.

There is this candle wax lifter by Goo Gone, called Candle Wax Lifter. You can purchase it at Bed Bath and Beyond or Linens N Things.
It works for me...and it comes with a white scraper to get the wax off.

Try using a blow dryer Get it warm and it should wipe right off. :-)

Superhot water. Pour boiling water over it and wipe up quickly. Melting it maybe the only way to break it down.
