I just need to know if I can dye my hair after a blowout? Anyone know? I have very fast growing hair, and it is about 30% gray, so I get these roots that look terrible, and normally I just do an at-home job myself, because I have to do it about once a month. My hair is healthy, but I'm worried about the possibility of reversing the effect of the BB treatment. So if anyone has ay experience, let me know what it is :D

I wouldn't. Formaldehyde is used in those blowouts. I can't imagine mixing hair coloring chemicals, is safe with that. You might read more about those blowouts. They are being banned in some states, becuase of the chemical contents. They are really bad and have unsafe levels. Good luck.
I get the BB as well and have my hair highlighted. You need to wait about 2 weeks after you get the blow-out to color your hair. If you choose to color your hair before the blow-out, then wait one week after coloring it to have it straightened. Hope this helps you.
I hate to hijack your post with info about the formaldehyde controversy, but though the products are labeled "formaldehyde free" regulatory agencies have found high levels in this product. http://www.oregonlive.com/health/index.ssf/2010/10/oregon...
Ask your stylist or call the salon you go to.. they will tell you the right answer!!!
You do know that those blowouts have formaldehyde in them? Both you and the stylist will be wearing medical masks - which really doesn't help you NOT breathe in the fumes. Just saying. Your hair, your body.
Actually the BB doesn't contain formaledhyde and is actually good for your hair. Mine is just about kaput (been almost 4 months). You can color your hair after a BB, but it won't "take" well to the part that was treated for at least a couple weeks. If you're just needing to touch up roots that grew in AFTER the BB treatment, it won't be an issue as the roots haven't been treated at all. Otherwise wait about 2 weeks. Also, coloring grey is different than if you did dark to blonde...the stripping agents in going lighter could potentially hurt the treatment...but just a theory.
