I was just wondering if you can save people as your friend on here, like on MySpace, or do you have to join groups? I am not real clear what to do. Sorry if I seem stupid, but I take some medications each day, (for a mucsle disease and failed back surgery,) it makes my brain foggy. Thanks for your help.

Yes you can make friends...mamasource is pretty simple. You can get on daily, weekly or however often suites your lifestyle. YOu can read requests and respond to those you feel compelled to. I joined mamasource 2-3 months ago and am enjoying it. I've recently met a few new ladies and hope to become good friends with them.

I'm 43, married, two children...9 yr old step-son and 4 yr old daughter. I love romantic comedies myself! Just went to see Made of Honor with Patrick Dempsey with some ladies from mamasource on Tuesday. Had a good time!

Here is my contact information if you want to talk:

Yes, I agree finding a church home is a great way to meet people and find friends. Get involved in a Sunday School class, Women's Group or Bible Study. That's where you will get to meet people and talk and go out for lunch, shopping. You are more than welcome to come visit our church and come to a United Methodist Women circle. Next week our speaker is a counselor who is talking on balancing your busy life as a Mom. Let me know if you would like more info.

On Mamasource, yes if you want to meet people and become friends, i would say that would be a good way also.

I'm also available to talk and maybe go to a movie or shopping,etc... My name is C. and here's my email: ____@____.com and I can give you my contact info if you are interested, you can email me.

Dear T. D,

Since you say you love the Lord, why don't you try joining a group at your church? If your church doesn't have a group you are comfortable with, try another church! I go to Fellowship and love it! I also suggest taking fewer meds, if that's at all possible. Sometimes "too much" is simply TOO MUCH! Maybe you should talk to your doc about all the meds you are taking and make sure they don't conflict with each other, especially if more than one doctor has been prescribing the medications.

You sound like a lovely person. I'm sure you will be able to make friends soon! If you ever want to chat, don't hesitate to email me at ____@____.com D

The others didn't understand your question, but I do since I also am on myspace, blogs and facebook!!

There is no way that I know of to have saved friends for mamsource. On facebook and myspace, yes you can save people's pages/profiles in your friend's list, but on mamasource, the only way I know to find a person again is to repond to a request of theirs, and then it will be saved in your "My Files". But if you respond to a lot of questions, that can be hard!

Private messaging a person will save their info, either if you sent it or received a message from another. Go to "My Files" and the "Messages" section, you click on either "Received" or "Sent" to read them.

I suggest maybe making a Word document, and copy and pasting the link to your friend's profiles there and then saving it, so that you can easily contact them in the future if you need. I do that with helpful info I may run into, so that I can find it easily again... since aside from keywords on here, mamasource does not have an actual search function.

If you have referred people to mamasource, through their email system, then go to "My Files" and at the bottom of the page it will say "Mom's I’ve invited who have joined Mamasource (#)" and you can click that link and it will bring up the profiles of those that have joined through you.

I hope that makes sense! Sorry to hear about the fibro, my mil has it severely and it is a terrible thing to watch her suffer through. She copes with chiropractic treatments and iv treatments and natural therapies, I have known others use accupuncture but that is expensive.
