No. I wouldn't. I would use a disinfectant wipe or show my grandson how to clean up after himself.
much would depend, M., on the type of floor you have. If you have a ceramic tile floor, it might work. If you have a linoleum floor, it would most likely damage it.
Why not just have him sit down or teach him to get it IN the toilet. I'm a mom of 4 boys. IF they miss the toilet? They clean it up. NOT ME. They need to learn. You need to teach him. NOW.
I suggest you use disinfectant wipes. If the solution for the wand has a lot of bleach in it, it is likely to eventually destroy the color of the floor.
Call the Chlorox customer service number to ask them.
My daughter successfully uses the wipes around the toilet and the wall.next to it. How old is your grandson..perhaps having him sit on the toilet may help.
I'm a huge Clorox fan but I would not use the wand for anything other than its stated purpose. You could end up with major discoloration.
I'd use wipes and teach him how to clean up his own mess. If he's responsible for wiping up the mess, maybe he'll be more responsible with his aim.
I've found that using a spray that's for dog/cat pee is great at cleaning and eliminating the odor.
For me at least, it works better than bleach or anything else I've tried.

Teach your grandson to keep it in the toilet by having him do the cleaning. He'll get tired of that an stop missing...
My parents raised my brothers to use the toilet in people's homes "sitting". They all do this today and have taught their sons to do the same. Simple courtesy (and great hygiene). When I shared this story, I was surprised to hear how many others were taught the same! Good luck!
Spray bottle with half (or even 3/4) white vinegar and the rest water. Vinegar kills odor and is natural so you won't a have heavy chemical smell. It took me a bit to get used to the smell of vinegar but now I love not having all the random chemical smells after cleaning. Vinegar is great in the laundry too. I use a cup in the rinse cycle for getting stubborn odors out of athletic clothes or towels.
how old is your grandson? i'd start having him clean up the stains with disinfectant wipes, which should be kept close to the toilet, and wash his hands thoroughly afterwards. whether he improves his aim or gets used to doing his own clean-up, your life is easier.
since we don't have little boys in the home any more i clean my bathroom with baking soda and vinegar, and only use bleach in the bowl itself occasionally. i prefer to have less toxic chemicals. and i'd definitely be wary about having a small child handle bleach.

Nope. My kids clean the toilets as part of their weekly chores and they use the toilet bowl stuff for the toilet and a disinfecting spray for around the bottom. Sometimes they use the Clorox wipes too, whatever works to get them clean.
My go to for pee, poop, and vomit is the enzyme cleaner I use for clean up after my pets. You spray it on and leave it sit so it breaks down the enzymes causing the odor.I also use a LED black light because the things mentioned above glow in a dark room under black light so I know I've treated the entire area needed.
My youngest tends to miss sometimes. We use white vinegar. It gets the smell out better than anything else. You can use a spray bottle with half vinegar/half water or add vinegar with some dawn dish soap to a bucket to clean the whole room. Otherwise, my older son cleans the bathroom with Clorox or Lysol wipes.
I can't imagine using something I put into the toilet bowl anywhere else but the toilet bowl!
If you are asking whether you can use the same solution, which I'm guessing with Chlorox, is bleach, you need to be very careful with that because it may ruin your floor, depending on the material of the floor.
Others have suggested using disinfecting wipes, but I would caution that if you are using bleach in the toilet that you not use anything ammonia-based at the same time on the floors. If you spill some of the bleach and or otherwise get the bleach and ammonia mixed, toxic fumes can result. Always check labels when using more than one product in the same area, particularly in closed areas like bathrooms.
A safer bet would be a non-toxic spray to use around the floor surrounding the toilet. There are many that are plant-oil based that should not be harmful to floors. Just spray, let sit for a minute and wipe with a paper towel.
I taught all the boys in my child care center to sit backwards on the toilet when they were first using it. They would lean on the back and that made the "aim" point down. I also had some Cheerios and little tissue squares with ships drawn on them. He sank the boats and then made the life preservers sink...he enjoyed it and always had better aim.
I use plain bleach water in my bathrooms on the floors. You can also just use Comet with bleach when cleaning it inside. I spray the outside of ours with Scrubbing Bubbles and then wipe it down with paper towels.
I personally would not because I have tile that I wouldn't use bleach on. I just use my regular tile floor cleaner. We have boys and a lot of boys to visit some are not as neat as others. It's really just our guests that seem to be the problem. Cleaning regularly helps (not that you don't) but I know what you mean about the smell. Make sure you hit the wall too (that's another place I'd use a cleaner safe for walls, not bleach).

I would not. Wipe it all clean with a disinfecting cleaner. Make sure you wipe all the places that are not obvious, like under the edge where the toilet is on the floor if there is a curved edge, around and behind the hinges for the seat and lid, and pull off the little caps that cover the screws on the base to make sure it's clean under them.
