My FIL has prostate cancer. I've been told that something else will get him first. It's a very slow moving cancer.
All I'm looking for is good, positive thoughts, prayers and energy. My beloved fiancee is getting a prostate biopsy right now.
Please share your positive energy with me. No negative or scary stories, please!
Can you provide some comfort to this scared and worried mama?
So his appointment yesterday was at 2:30. The doctor didn't get him in until AFTER 4:30. We were quite upset.
He is doing fine. They took 12 samples (!!!). It was emotionally rough on both of us last night...but he's taking the day off today. He's told me that he's trying not to think of the worst case scenario. We're praying for negative results (by Friday). I've already researched the worst case scenario (The Big "C:)...and it looks like it is extremely treatable and the survival rate is VERY high...so that's good. But I'm still praying for negative.
Negative, negative, negative....God, please give us all strength and let those results be negative.
♥
ETA: Ladies, I'd like to thank you all for your wonderful positive energy. The results came in and are negative. No cancer or abnormal cells. I'm so very thankful.
Brightest blessings to all of you.

Prayers to you and your fiance!
I have been exactly where you are. My husband's biopsy was negative, but with high grade PIN. He has been vegan for two years since and his PSA level has been cut in half. The good thing to focus on is that PC is slow growing and treatable. You can also do a lot to prevent it once you get a "scare" but a negative test and a lot to slow it down and stop it if you get a positive biopsy.
I know exactly how you are feeling and I am saying a prayer for you both.
prayers going up for you!
Will be thinking of you and your fiancee. I know for me, my first thought is often the worst during these situations. It can be hard to derive yourself from them. However, it shows how much you care and how much you want things to go well. Things will go well. My FIL had this same procedure. It's a precaution as well as a much needed one. He is in good hands. Just remember to breathe and put all your worries behind you. Focus on the positivities. Have faith.
sending prayers your way!!! hope all is well!!

My husband's dad concurred at the age of 72. Happy thoughts.
Prayers for both of you! Have faith in HIS plan...he can see a lot further than any of us.....
