My son went to the Como HealthPartners clinic and he loved it. We don't have HealthPartners any more and have had a hard time finding a good dr. for my son.
The clinic is an all-in-one clinic and I would highly recommend it.
Can Anyone recommened a good peditrician or family doctor to take my 2 yr old and one yr old too? Does anyone have a good doctor they go too? I am only looking for a doctor in the st paul or roseville area ONLy...

pediatric & young adult medicine in st. paul on grand ###-###-####. i take all 3 of my kids there - love him!
We go to the Allina Clinic on Lexington in Roseville, its between 694 and 96. Dr. Glasow is an amazing doctor. We had been fighting our old ped. to get our son in to see an ear, nose, throat dr. and he had refused saying our son would outgrow it. We switched clinics and got Dr. Glasow and he couldnt believe the other dr. left our son suffering so long. He is great with kids and they just love him. Good luck!
Dr. Julie Saxton at Pediatric and Young Adult Medicine in St. Paul is EXCELLENT. She's a seasoned doctor with kids of her own and interacts so well with little ones. She was recommended to us through this site and we're so happy. Also, during the day she's reachable directly by phone - no middle man! She'll either answer right away or call you back if she's with a patient. It's been great, esp. since we're first time parents.
Her info is listed on this site. Good luck.
Try dr. peterson at childrens clinic in Saint Paul. The number is ###-###-####. When I lived in Saint Paul she was my kids pediatrician and I loved her. You could mkae an appoint with her for any concern that you had and no question was ridiculous. Even when she felt sure everything was fine she would still make referals for me just to be sure. I could tell that she loved what her job. Even when Sylvia yelled at the nurses after getting her vaccinations when she was two years old Dr.Peterson thought is was more funny than annoying.
PYAM!! Pedatric and young adult medicine. We see Dr. Fishman there whos great as well as Dr. Baron or Dr. Plotnic...even dR. gARR those are the only ones we see but they have a web site www.PYAM.com check them out! Only had good experiances with them!
i really like the central pediatrics clinic off 94 and lexington. i take my kids to dr jaeger, but we'ver seen almost all of them and they are very good. our doc also takes all of our concerns very seriously and gives us as much time as we need each apt. my kids love her, and the staff is really friendly and patient too =) they also have an urgent care in woodbury connected to their office there, that we take our kids too when needed, and we live in NE Mpls, that's how much we like them =) good luck finding one that you like as much =)
hey K.. We moved to st paul about a year and a half ago, and I was able to find Dr John Kelly at the healtheast maplewood clinic (which is near St John's hospital. It isn't too far from roseville, so I thought I would let you know. He is so great. He really sits down and takes a lot of time going through everything that is going on at this stage and to answer any questions I have. We are seriously in there for at least a half hour. I appreciate his taking the time and he is great with my kids, 2, 8, and 9.

Tammi Plotnik at pediatric and young adult medicine located right next to United hospital my kids have been going to her for almost 5 years and we love her she also goes to the clinic in maplewood.
Hi K. - we just moved away from St.Paul, but my son has always gone to the St. Paul HealthPartners Clinic to see Dr. Maxwell. He's awesome! My husband and I had a hard time finding a doc that we were comfortable with and had to go through 2 to get to him. He's young and up-to-date on new advances in medicine. He takes lots of time to explain everything and we just love him! I'm now driving from Mpls to see him since we just can't give him up....
I have a great peditrician I see in W.St.Paul...I don't know of any is St. Paul, however I do recommend that your children see a peditrician, not a general practioner. Just from my experience as a person who has worked in the health care field. V. R.N., B.S.N (not currently practicing).
Aspen clinic in Maplewood. The 2 pediatricians there are great. I especially like Dr. Genreau. The fact that she has 2 boys (like I do) has really helped when I had issues with mine.
Hi K.
I've been going to Dr. Michael Hooley for the last twenty five years. He's such a nice person, the kids love him too. There's also Dr. Gerber, and Dr. Kaspner there. They do have women drs to. Hooleys my favorite, Kaspner and Gerber come in 2nd. They just moved in a new clinic and renamed it to:
Healtheast Roselawn Clinic, just off Roselawn and 35E.
Phone: ###-###-####.
The clinic is nice and new, very clean, and the news there are great. They are very personable there too. Dr. Hooley and the nurses always ask me how my kids (by name)are when I go to see him myself....that means alot that they remember me and each of my kids names.
Give them a call!
I have a 2 year old boy and 1 year old girl. They usually see Dr. Theresa Kovarik, a pediatrician at the Health Partners Como Clinic off of Eustic and Larpenter/HWY 280 near both St. Paul and Roseville. She is EXCELLENT!!! The only thing is she's hard to see...we make our appointments at least a month out to ensure she'll be available. Another great Ped there is Laurel Cedarburg. She's easier to get in to.
Good luck!
