"What to expect the first year" is a great book for almost any question. It is from the authors of "What to Expect When You Are Expecting" Thye also have one the toddler years.

Other than that I would google the inforamtion or ask your pediatrician.

Congrats on a great baby,
J.

Its the intake of "food verse liquid" that you should be paying attention to my dear. At this age your little man should be eating two yars of babyfood..(he will soon be at 3 yars once hes 12-14months) A fruit at lunch and a veg. at dinner time. Plus sippy cup filled with juice at meals. Then his 5-8 oz bottles of mild between the big meals. Mornings and evenings are goodtimes for that as well. Also some babyrice in the bottle or out of the bowl with the milk in the morning is a great idea to start off the little guys day. Proper eating will increase his growing, active level, learning etc.
Also hv u began or starting thinking about in the very near future starting to place whole milk mixed with his to get him on the go to the change over? Thats usually done at 12months. Weaned off is 12-14.
Goodluck,
R.
Pd-i would really try reading some books. This age is so importain to be feeding in a healthy manner.Takecare and enjoy ur baby days!!:D

I really love these websites for general information on good nutrition. http://www.wholesomebabyfood.com/howmuchbabyeat.htm and http://www.wholesometoddlerfood.com/Toddlers.htm

By 10 months, my dd was eating a lot of table food and less jarred foods. I didn't really worry about calories. I provided healthy options for her eat and then let her eat till she indicated she was done. (generally by throwing food off her tray!) Anyhow as long as your dc continues their growth curve, you can feel confident that you're doing a great job.

Like another poster said, the "What to Expect" books are great for this sort of question.

If you're really worried, you should ask your pediatrician. If we were to compare 20 ten month old babies, I'm sure we would see a variety of eating habits (breast/bottle/solids 1, 2, 3/table foods, etc), physical development levels, and personal preferences. Your child is very unique and as long as he is following his typical 'growth curve' (does NOT matter what percentile, just that he is advancing at a rate along the curve), then there's not much reason to worry (however, I too tend to worry about 'baby things' because, hey, as a mother it is in our nature to do so!!).
