If you don't find a supplement, try these options:
Edensoy Extra soy milk, vanilla flavored
Tropicana Orange juice with added calcium
Has anyone found calcium supplements for toddlers that are chewable? I currently give flintstones w/bone support, but ds is allergic to milk and needs more calcium dr says. Thanks for any help!
Guess I forgot some other important details : ) He's also allergic to pineapple (so no orange either dr says) and chocolate and HATES all veggies except green peas. He also has reflux still so I avoid tomato sauces...kinda limiting huh? We eat a ton of peanut butter-thank goodness no peanut allergies. I have just gotten him to drink a little almond milk too, but he hates rice milk. And, nope, no dairy at all-OR SOY! Ugh!

R., If you are reading many responses, I probably sound like a broken record about Melaleuca:) But they have so many fabulous products! We offer a childrens Multi-vitamin that is chewable and does not have sugars and artificial additives. It is also patented with an absorbancy method to ensure that your body is actually absorbing the calcuim, etc. Priced very reasonably, you can check them out on www.melaleuca.com for specific ingredients and sources feel free to call me ###-###-#### or email ____@____.com of luck finding what you are looking for, N.
Citrical has an adult chocolate supplement that I cut in half for my toddler. Calcium Citrate is more digestable than Calcium Carbonate found in most normal vitamins. It works great! Oh...but check...these might contain milk.
If so, check at Whole Foods.
All dark, leafy veggies contain calcium. The ones toddlers hate. :) I've started adding chopped spinach to almost everything I make...spaghetti sauce, soups, etc... It works in almost anything with little to no impact on the flavor. It's a great trick to get kids to eat something healthy!
calcium fortified orange juice, broccoli, dark green veggies, soy milk, soy yogurt, liquid calcium (at health food stores).
My daughter is allergic to milk, soy and many other things too. Her allergist suggested tums twice a day for her calcium needs plus we do fortified orange juice. I also put her on juice plus which is whole food nutrition supplement and it has done wonders for her excema. You can learn more about it at www.juiceplus.com/+LD57112
Good luck in dealing with food allergies!

You can get Calcium in a chocolate form like Viactiv. But, He can get Calcium from good like Broccoli and google or ask your pediatrician what other foods you can get Calcium from. Milk products are not the only source of Calcium.
