Breastfeeding causes you to lose breast tissue. Consider it gone... There is no getting it back. Sorry... :(
Need a little advice. I have been nursing my eight month old son. I have recently stopped. I noticed my breasts have shrank. How can I get them back?????

I hate to tell you this ... but I don't think they're coming back (at least not naturally)! ;) That's one of the benefits of nursing ... bigger, fuller boobs! Ha ha! ;)
My daughter self weaned around 13 months, and I went down a cup size (after having gone up a cup size and staying there the whole time I nursed her). Bummer! ;)
Hi busy mama. Unfortunately the way to get them back is to either get pregnant again (help us all!!) or find a good plastic surgeon. I am a mother of 3 and started out 10 years ago with a modest B cup going to a large C or small D with each pregnancy and nursing and am now DONE as my 3rd is 16 mos. and am at a 32A (sort of) and can even get away with just the 32 in the girls section. Sad but true. For me the surgery is an option and it is not so much about what they look like to others (even an A cup can make you look like you have boobs)but I want to like the way I look with no clothes on. My husband likes me just as I am but vanity says otherwise. Good luck.
I nursed my daughter for 8 months and experienced the same. They did come back slowly, I didn't do anything to help them along. They should come back to you, give them some time to heal and take lots of hot baths. And a little help from you hubby can't hurt either.
Hi,
If you get an answer to this question, please let me know! Just to chime in, I have exclusively pumped for almost 10 months now. I am down to pumping 3 times a day, and I am noticing this size reduction as well. All the time pumping and squeezing every ounce of milk out I can has really done a number on me. I am quite disapointed with the size and shape, and how much lower my breast seem to be. But hey, I guess thats the price we pay.
I have heard that if you do exercises and lift some weights that target the chest muscles that it can *help*, but I have been told that it will never be close to the same unless you have implants. But who wants to go through that or have stripper breasts!?!
I don't know if it is the same for everyone, but after i stopped nursing my son my breast also shrank and since I didn't have a lot to start out with I wanted them back. After a couple months they came back on their own. I hope you have luck.
I'll agree with the not so helpful but hopeful responses. If you f ind a way to get it back, let me know! >.< I didn't have very big ones to begin with... and now, after nursing two kids, well... you can imagine. *sigh* Tis a sad thing. =(
WEll, girl, it has been a long time since my babies were....babies,one is now 20 and the other 22. But,trust me I remember wondering the same thing after I stopped nursing them. I hate to tell you this, but, short of surgery, I guess your stuck with them being smaller. When I had my two girls, and breastfed them, I thought I had been blessed not only with beautiful kids but, more endowed in the breast area than I had ever been, (so did my husband)....then the breast feeding stopped and it all seemed to deflate from there. I know this is not real advice but, I just had to learn to live with it or........get surgery. I just lived with it. Just know you are as beautiful now as you were before the babies. I think that getting bigger during breast feeding and then going back to smaller is one of God's little jokes he plays on us women when we have babies....ha,ha...I know this does not help at all but, your still the same beautiful woman you have always been. Plus, I guess theres always excercising them. Ha,Ha...with two kids, I was too tired to even try that......I figured then and still do now, hey, who cares.
Gain weight. Honestly, losing breast size is very common after nursing. My mother was double D when she graduated high school, and a C most of my life. I later learned it was because she nursed that she lost. As she got older and put on weight, she got larger again.
haha..we cant get them back My first my breast was bigger than my 8 pd babys head, bigger than a DD..LOL i was a D in highschool..After my 2nd n 3rd child Breast feeding I was back up passed DD, now back to a D and honestly if i could give you some I would lol.. Bigger is not better dear..Yeah there great but a man will tell you a mouthfull is to much! LOL
But miracles are possible..I hear a myth though, the more sucking on your breasts the bigger they get, got a man have him try this hehe...
You can't! But let me know if you figure out a miracle (other than surgery).
Yeah....they don't.
My breasts have went from a D to a DD with my first, then back to a C, from there to EE - F while nursing, then down to a B - C. They don't come back. They just get flatter with each child you nurse, thus the popularity of breast enhancements and lifts...
Sorry!
sorry to tell you that your breasts will never be the same. the best thing to do is good good bras. spend the money, to to victoria secret. get sized and get a couple of good bras. but you have to wait till all your milk dries up and if you are planning on loosing your baby fat then you should wait. once the rest of your body looks the way you like it, and if you are done with having babies then you can get them lifted.
