Ok Moms, I've got such an energetic 2 year old. (Yes I know, you're all thinking who does). I'm trying to find an activity (i.e. soccer) to burn some of his energy off. I think he would really enjoy something like that. I live in the Arlington, TX area and was wondering if any of you knew of something I could get him involved with. Any ideas help. We are constantly playing outside and going to the park and stuff. He would live outside if I would let him.

Kids can start in Soccer Tots as young as 18 months. The program just started this week. The cost is 180 for 12 weeks plus an annual 25 dollar reg. fee. 180 dollars averages to $15 a day. The class I think is only an hour. I think the arlington one must have been full but I was able to get on to the Mansfield site. I can not remember the address but I know that I goggled Soccer Tots and found it easily.

Hope this helps.

Apex, in Mansfield, there is an indoor soccer league. I don't know for sure the ages, but they have a Soccer Tot class. It is in between Mansfield and Midlothian off of 287, on the right, I think the exit is Hertiage park ( I could be wrong)....you can see it from the HWY. GOOD luck, boys are more energetic than girls.

I'm sure the rec centers in Arlington have loads of activities for kids to do. I'm in Mansfield and the Mansfield Activity Centers has several kid activities for kids. Most have some kind of fee.

C., I live in Mansfield and have a dd who is almost 3. She too is real active. When I looked into a sport for her, I found MOST had a age restriction (must be 3/4 by July 31). My suggestion is looking into the Parks and Recreation catelog (you should have received on in the mail, but if not you can pick them up a rec senter (there is one on Bardin and Green Oaks?, Bob Duncan is around Matlock and Arkansas? and Dottie Lynn is up near 303 & ?). They have tumbling classes, etc for the younger crew and reasonably priced but usually only meet once a week. Do you have a playground in your back yard? we recently bought one and it seems to help some. I also take my daughter on a walk with the dogs either right before or right after dinner. After a nice long soak in the tub afterwards, it make bedtime easier.
Hope this helps!
