If it is a chocolate cake use powered chocolate like Herseys in place of the flour when preparing the pan.

It truly depends upon the cake. I make this cake ( http://allrecipes.com/recipe/too-much-chocolate-cake/deta... ) in a bundt pan all the time...it's VERY moist because the recipe calls for a lot of oil...so no need to spray or worry about it sticking. But if you're doing a cake with little oil/butter (angelfood), you'll need to use a baker's release spray like Baker's Joy.

I love my bundt pan.

That is all i've ever done, just use regular box mix & the cook time should be on the cake mix box. Enjoy!

Unless I'm mistaken, a bundt cake is called that because of the shape of it i.e. the bundt pan. Actually, your question confused me (and I've been cooking/baking for 2 decades) so much I began to question myself & looked it up. According to wikipedia, it's any dessert cake baked in a bundt pan.
*ETA* so I didn't really answer your question. Yes, you can use any cake mix to include boxed varieties in a bundt pan & follow the instructions to ensure it doesn't stick. I like to use Pam spray & then a light coating of flour for most of my cakes.

Just spray the hell out of it with Pam.

The cake will drop out and the angels will sing. :)

Never had luck with greasing and flouring a bundt pan.

Use Baker's joy on the pan. http://www.bakersjoy.com/ It's usually with the spray oils and Pam. It's a mix of flour and oil. So when you spray it, the pan is prepared for a cake mix and there is no need to flour it with anything. Spray the pan carefully, makin sure to get all the cracks and crevices. (There are other brands that work well, but as a cake decorator, I like this one the best). For a bundt cake, I'd also cool it completely in the pan before inverting it.

Yep. Crisco & flour. Toss some flour in there and shake it around.
