Bump on Inside Corner of Eyesocket

DD has a red bump on the inside area of her eye. its the corner where the eye meets the bridge of your nose. I dont think its a stye that is the eye lid area. it wastiny this morning and this evening it has doubled in size. has anyone experienced this? It does not seem to bother her she is not scratching her eye, but the bump is really hard. any info will be apperciated.

It could be as simple as an infected/blocked tear duct, too

hold a warm/hot wash cloth on it a few times a day
usually sty's don't grow like that

It could be an infected or blocked tear duct. Sometimes they develop into abscesses.

You need to see your pediatrician on this one. Impossible, and potentially dangerous, to give real advice on something we cannot even see, on a child whose age you did not state.

Don't take any chances when it is close to the eye or brain.
