It's wonderful! So worth it! My daughter used when she was very young until she could sit on her own. And now we use it again now that she's older as a booster seat. Definitely worth the money!
I am thinking about buying a Bumbo seat, does anyone have an opinion on these. Are they worth the money?
I bought one....she loves it! And she looks so cute in it.
Thanks for all of your advice.

in my opinion, they are worth EVERY PENNY! My daughter used hers from the time she was about 3 months old until she could sit on her own...all the time. She loved it, and she just looked so darn cute in it!
If you do decide to get one, I've seen them at Once Upon A Child practically brand new and 1/2 the price. :)
I love my Bumbo!!! Get the tray though because it will make it so that your baby can reach the toys. It is another 9.99 but makes it more enjoyable for you baby and also makes it a great portable high chair.
we loved it also, couldn't imagine doing it without it!!
Yes they are great. I had one when my 2 year old was a baby. After she started setting up I continued to use it for feeding. Well worth the money and they have a great resell value.
I have the BUMBO seat and I love it! it's great for travel purposes. Instead of taking a high chair on trips, we take the BUMBO seat. It works just as well!
It helped alot with my daughter but she only used it for a month she out grew it (chunky legs). We bought it when she was 4 months.
completely worth the $$!!! everyone i know that has one says they are the best things ever. many parents i know even keep one in the car so they'll have it wherever they go. i use them all the time with some of the kidos i keep. they are great for those few weeks that your baby wants to sit up but hasn't quite mastered it yet. eventhough they don't need them long i think they are a great investment :)
best wishes,

My daughter loved hers! I'd say they're definitely worth it.
LOVE IT!! We do not leave home without it. My daughter is 10 months old and we are just now purchasing a high chair. WE have used this with her ever since we was 3 months old. She is now getting chunkier legs and still not a problem. When we pick her up the chair comes too, but we just pull it off of her. No problem. Not a good reason not to get the Bumbo. She will sit in it while I cook, sit in it to play, EVERYTHING. I could not parent without a Bumbo. Worth every penny.
I too had one and we loved and my daugher sat up on her own really fast after using it with her. I definately suggest getting it used if you can as they are easy to clean and you will save a TON. Look around at resale shops or look on Ebay and/or craigs list.
i have a bumbo & i love it...my son is special needs but i think it provides stability that other seats do no for all children learning to sit up....i have also seen another seat similiar at wal-mart that was a little more inexpensive than a bumbo but you can tell it is not as well made.
Love it. My son is 7 months now and I still use it. He loves it. I think it makes him feel secure. Definately worth the money.
we loved it! I sat my dd in front of a mirror and she would make faces at herself for a good 30 min. I always used it for story time and it was her special story chair, which was great b/c I had two wiggle worms! AWESOME for church, but you need to be consistant in bringing it for it to work.
We loved our bumbo! He hated tummy time so this was an alternative. We used right up until he learned to crawl out of it. I know you're not suppose to do this but we would even set it on the countertops while we got ready in the mornings or put dishes away. We watched him very carefully, of course. It was a life saver.
My opinion is NO!!! Not worth the money. Great idea and concept behind them and I have friends that have loved them and take them everywhere with their kids. Mine hated it. I hated it. My DD had pleasantly plump little legs and we about had to peal her out of the seat. Her leags would get stuck and when we would pick her up the Bumbo would come with her then we had to hold her in a hanging position and pry the Bumbo off her. I took it back and got my $40 back. But that is just my opinion.

It was a life saver for us, and now we tell all our friends to get one. when we first got it, he would only stay in for a few minutes at a time, but as he got accustomed to it, he loved it!
We bought our's new and loved it! It is great if you travel at all b/c it serves multiple purposes such as a chair for feeding anywhere along with assisting in the development of the muscles used for sitting up. I would suggest looking for one used b/c they hold up really well and no need to pay full retail price. I would offer ours but we sold it on Craig's List for 1/2 the price already.
I was sooo excited to get my Bumbo...however...unfortunately my son HATES it! He fusses whenever he is in it. I also bought the tray that attches to it thinking that if I could set some toys on top of it that he would like it, but he doesn't. He is the FIRST child that I have seen not like it! But it really doesn't allow him to move his legs and he hates that feeling. You may want to take your baby somewhere to try it out first. Mine has been a huge waste of money.
We got one for my son. He seemed to get bored in it after being in it for a short time. And it was kind of a drag when he would drop his toy and not be able to get it back from the floor.
It was good for having him sit with us while we were doing family activities like playing trains with our older son and stuff like that.
