Do you do the Stuff for Stuff at build a bear? I have spent over 140 in June and have 66 pts…now I thought you got a pt for every dollar you spend PLUS the b-day month you get and extra ½ pt per dollar..should I call them since I should have over $14 in “free” money to spend?

I would call them. I'm so over Build a Bear. Everytime I get a coupon in email and go to use it they give me issues. I have to explain that no I will not rush out and use the coupon the next day. But when I do within a week's time I use it when I want too. The cashier always says you used it or someone else used your code. Then I have to argue. I stopped going. I took the manager's number and called and told them corp the story. Nothing happened but good luck. I hope they don't cheat you out of $14+ dollars. Plus it doesn't hurt to ask, the worst would be NO.

Ha! BAB cracks me up. $14 in free money will probably buy you one cowboy boot! I think their prices are ridiculous. We took our kids there a couple years ago and let each of them pick something for their bdays (they are 19 days apart). Once we saw the prices we told them to make it good cuz they're only getting ONE! So we dropped a chunk of change that day and they STILL love those animals! So we kind of made it like a special treat and I think they appreciate them more. So yeah, don't turn down a free $14 if its offered to you! Good luck.

We don't have a build a bear near us, but have on occasion visited them when we are near one. My daughter loves the experience, and treasures all of her Build a Bear friends. My daughter's birthday is in April, but in February we received a $10 Build a Bear bucks "check" to use in the store, within days I received a coupon for 20 or 25% off in my email. My daughter had a cast on her arm since a trip to Disney before Christmas yielded a broken elbow. We were off to see the ortho and get the 2nd cast off just before Valentine's day..to celebrate the cast coming off and give her something special for Valentine's day, we visited Build a Bear in the town that the ortho is in. She picked out a really cute pink dog that came with a "diamond studded collar& diamond studded milk bone shaped tag", the matching puppy that is held by magnet in the larger dogs mouth, and the pink blingy dog carrier that they both fit in. I thought that I would have to split my purchase into two to take advantage of both coupons, but the employee cheerfully put it all together, took the % off the whole amount, and then took the $10 B.B bucks off, leaving me with a balance of less than $19. I would contact B.A.B and ask, because for me, the checks just usually come in the mail, and coupons via email and some times snail mail. Good luck & have fun!

It's not $ for $. I think for every $100 you spend you receive a $10 certificate. Some things do not factor in but you'd have to check with them. The certificates are only delivered via e-mail now so check your SPAM folder.

It's a waste of money. It is sooo fun for the kids... for the moment. Then the heart stops working and all the fun is down the drain with your money.

We went there once, the prices are ridiculous and the animals are not any higher quality than you can get at walmart for 5 bucks. I think the whole thing is a huge waste of money. JMO
