Throw it in the freezer for a bit and it should come right off

Scrape off what you can with a knife and then apply ice. Frozen gum breaks off. If you don't need them right away throwing them in the freezer will work too.

the freezer works great!! or even take a bag of ice to harden the gum.

Peanut butter - seriously!

The oil dissolves the "goo" in gum - in hair, on shoes, etc.

Use a toothbrush with some dish detergent to get all the peanut butter and dissolved gum off. Washes away no problem without scraping!

The freezer should work.
Put it in a plastic grocery bag (if you feel weird about putting a shoe int he freezer - I would) and try to get the gum out a few hours later.

I agree...freeze it off. For the little tidbits, let it thaw back out and put peanut butter on. Then rub it in. The oils in the PB will loosen it off.

Olive oil works too.
