good question! I have found the super suds come from chemicals. I am very hesitant to use them but my son loves fluffy bubbles - let me know if you get some good product ideas...my son is 20 months.
What is the best (super bubbly) bubble bath brand, that doesn't seem to be toooo harsh?

I would say skip all bubble bath! it drys out the natural oils in their skin and can give little girls urinary tract infections!
Try eco-friendly dishwashing soap. We use biokleen's Free and Clear. It is formulated to moisturize and protect skin. They also have nice scents that your kid(s) might be able to tolerate. My son has very sensitive skin. He breaks out if I use anything like fabric softener, harsh laundry detergent. We've used this as bubble bath since he was a toddler. And... he dries spot free :)
Hi D.,
I'm not sure what all bubble baths you have used. But i work for a wellness company that has 100% all natural products. I love there bubble bath, it has coconuts and oats in it with natural vitamin E, aloe vera, and chamomile moisturize and leave the skin soft.
They have a lot of products that are not harmful to kids or pets. If your interested in learning more just let me know.

We use Mr. Bubbles that is extra sensitive, or something like that, for my little 1 1/2 year old. Gives pretty good bubbles, and has never irritated her skin or eyes. You can find it near the baby wash and shampoos.
Mr. Bubble has a great sensitive skin kind out, it is sold in a white bottle and makes great bubbles just like the regular version.
Earth Mama Angel Baby makes a nice shampoo and body wash that foams as it comes out of the pump. All natural recognizable ingredients, many organic, a soap rather than detergent, none of those scary chemicals that have been in the news. But it's not the same as bubble bath. I believe bubble bath is made of harsh detergent and surfactants.
We like Avon's kids bubble bath.
I agree with Alena if your child is younger than 6 or 7. My granddaughter is nearly 8 and we don't use bubble bath. She uses baby shampoo and baby wash to make bubbles.
If your child is older, look in the baby department for a product that doesn't have scent and read the label. I know that labels are not always truthful but the product that I found that said it was safe for children worked OK for my daughter 20 years ago.
It's true that bubble bath and even the baby shampoo and bath products, tho somewhat less, dry out the skin. We immediately slather my granddaughter when she gets out of the tub with a lotion for sensitive skin. Again no scent.
I remember giving my daughter bubble baths when she was 7. When I was a kid I loved bubble baths and so just assumed it was OK. Then I read and was told that it isn't good for babies, toddlers, preschoolers and even grade school kid. So I looked for one that said it was safe for younger childen. I found one at Fred Meyers that claimed to be mild and had not scent. It worked for her. My granddaughter has excema. She just gets a bubble bath once in awhile.
