if she isnt walking on it in a week from now take her back there may be a small fracture.
My daughter hurt her leg and we had x-rays done which showed it was not broken. The doctor said it is a bruised bone. This happened last Wednesday and she still will not walk on her leg. How long can I expect for her to not walk on it??

I bruised a bone by an idiot move with a power washer & it hurt severely for weeks & stayed tender for longer. Granted I am sure your daughter hasn't been in contact with a pressure sprayer, but a bruised bone is very painful and lasts longer than a break or sprain in total time. Soaking in an epsom salt bath may help, but it's more for muscle strain/bruising. Maybe a warm compress every so often would help. I really don't think there is much that will but you can try them.
In my experience it has been at least 2 weeks or so to be able to walk on it, with some pain and tenderness for several months...a bruised bone hurts terribly :(
i've been told that somtimes it can take a few days for a break to "show" on an x-ray, i'd bring her back in and have them x-ray it again...
Hard to walk for maybe 2 weeks. It may be tender and weird and very sensitive for a good month tho. Knowing its not broken id do some ibuprofen or tylenol for pain and then encourage her to start walking on it ...maybe on wed.
To give you an idea.. I has a bruised bone on my heel and it really hurt for months.. I had trouble for 2 weeks walking on it.
