have you tried resale shops, flea markets, goodwills, etc. You may be able to find a pot just like the one you have and probably inexpensive A.
We broke the lid to our new croc pot and we have looked online, but everything is on back-order. Does anyone know how to get just the lid?

Hi G.,
Look for a replacement lid on EBay.com. They have EVERYTHING you want or need. Good luck hunting!

G.,
It it is a regular croc pot, I have a set of three white bowls that you can bake in, corning where I think, and the smallest one I always get the lid mixed up with my croc pot lid. You could buy them and use the lid on which ever you need at the time.

Good morning G.. Have you e-mailed the manufacturer. I know that in Canada if we get in touch with the manufacturer they will advise us how to go about getting another lid. Good luck.

Maybe contact the brand and try that? if not its a long shot buttt sometimes Good will or thrift stores carry glass corningware/crook pots
Flea markets and garage sales are great sources.
Have you tried contacting the manufacturer? They normally have replacement parts available.
Have you tried Goodwill, thrift stores?
Crock pots generally use standard sized lids. Measure the space across the opening and check someplace that sells lids for a new one. I think WalMart may sell lids. Also, check the lids for your other pots, you may already have one that fits.
If it is the round type, a casserole dish lid fits perfect.
hi G.,
I have had luck finding lids and other small stuff at thrift stores for almost nothing, give it a try. GOOD LUCK!
You may find one in a resale shop. I did. I used my crock pot lid for another pan in my cupboard, so I looked for one in the various resale shops around the area until I found one. They seem to be rather universal. Plastic and glass are about the same. I took my crock pot to a function and my glass lid got swapped with another person's plastic lid. It works just the same or better than my original.
God bless.
I have a lid that is from a different pan. I left mthe kids somewhere and so I just use the one from my otehr set that fits the closest. good luck
G.,
I don't know if Austin is too far away from you, but there used to be a place on Burnet Road called Harrells. They sell replacement parts for all kinds of kitchen appliances. Hope this helps.
local thrift stores are full of crock pots and even lids, try KCM on Mason
You might try some flea markets or garage sales. They sometimes have just lids for sale.
Have you tried to order another brand of lid? It has always been my understanding that the size of croc pots are pretty universal. You could measure your pot, go to the store, make note of all other brands that would fit. Therefore, you would have more than one replacement option.
Just a thought.
Margaret:)
If you still have your crock manual, check for the 800 number in the back and call them. They can send you a replacement lid for little money.
Try to go to Garage Sales and fine what you are looking for and get some of your friends to help out as well. You might fine one there. Good luck
I did this a long time ago and happen to find a casserole dish at the local grocery store that was the same size. I still use the lid for my crock pot and broke the casserole dish years ago. I think I have had it for more than 10 years now.
try going to FREECYCLE.ORG and finding your local area group. It is a yahoo group but, if you want to get rid of stuff you can post it there and if you have something that you need, someone will probably have it. It helps out alot if someone has a crock pot that is just sitting around collecting dust, or if they have a broken one and didn't get ridof the lid or whatever the case may be. It may tak a little while, but they normally come thru, and if not, no harm in trying. You didn't spend any money just a little time, and who knows what you might find on there that you wanted, but haven't quite gotten around to buying, or couldn't justify buying.
Good luck.
Mary
howdy, you can use any lid that fits. really glass or metal. i know i do. go to goodwill or salvation army if you don't have a pot lid check them out. by the way i use 2 crocks at once to make my meals really easy. D.

Call outlet stores and check thrift stores? Maybe some luck.
C.
go to the manufacturer's website
Hi, G.,
Maybe there's a factory outlet or specialty store that carries them, esp. if yours had a well-known brand. Maybe Williams Sonoma?
