I have this and love it!! you can take the extra cushioning out if you'd like too. #1 seat in crash test ratings...VERY SAFE! I would defiantly recommend this car seat.

Does this carseat push your babies heads forward b/c of the big pillow? We are thinking of buying one...but unsure if the pillow is uncomfortable. Our 9 month old is tall for her age and this feature looks uncomfortable.
thanks!!

Hi Kristen,
I am a car seat technician and the Boulevard is a nice seat for a couple of reasons.
The headrest moves up with the turn of a knob on both sides of the seat. This movement also moves the shoulder straps up and down. If the shoulder straps are in the correct position-about 1/2 to one inch below the baby's shoulders, the head protection position will be fine.
When the baby is 33 pounds or their head is one inch from the top of the chair--WITH THE head piece fully extended, the baby can move forward facing.
The other feature of this seat over others, is that you do not have to remove the chair in the forward position to move the shoulders straps up, just turn the knob.
Call me if you need to know anything else, and ALWAYS have your seats inspected. 99 percent of all seats out there are wrong, why take the chance?

Britax are great! I have two children and recently purchased my 4th Britax. Keep in mind that babies must be one-years-old AND at least 20 pounds to be forward facing.
Hi K.,
I'm not familiar with Britax seats but please check out: www.car-seat.org as it's a wonderful site with techs that can help you!
We have this carseat and the headrest hasn't been a problem at all. My son was also tall at 9 mos and continues to be tall at 2.5 and the seat is still perfect for him.
I have a boulevard for my son and he loves it! It doesn't push his head forward or anything. The only thing is because of the headrest, it's hard for him to see out of the window. But besides that, I love it!
