I thought there was one up in the Schaumburg area. I could never do it because of the morning nap.
I would just go to the bigger theatres website and look there.
I've heard that some theaters offer a "Mom's matinee," where it's ok to bring your baby in, and they turn the volume down so it's not too loud for babies, and even leave the lights on a bit. Does anyone know of any place like this in the NW suburbs? Thanks!

Loewes Theatres at The Streets of Woodfield in Schaumburg
Hi - I went there when my child was probably 1 1/2 - there were no other small babies there -just old people and 12 year old kids. I got dirty looks when my child started to try out every seat in the place - it just didn't work & wasn't what I expected (I though it'd be more like a day care atmosphere) that was at the Skokie theater anyway.... we left & got our money back
Kerasotes does this- I only know of the one by me in Niles, Skokie, and Chicago.
Becky,
I think Regal theatres does this, as well as "free" movies all summer for kids and moms. I have been to them with my kids, and it is fun. It nice to go to the movies and let the little ones roam around, not always have to SHUSH them and get out in A/C in the dead of summer. I don't recall if the volume on the movie is lowered, the lights are dim and the kids volume is definitely not your usual movie theatre volume.
Just know that if you are unsatisfied, talk to a manager. They usually will try to be accommodating if there is an issue. Kids are allowed to walk, talk, babies may fuss, but being overall disruptive is not enjoyable to anyone.
Have fun.
