My newborn just got his two month shots yesterday and has been a very crabby baby since. Is it normal for them to nurse a little less often after vaccinations?
Thanks! He's definitely still having wet and dirty diapers but only eating for 4-5 minutes on one side every 2 1/2-3 hours. Hopefully by tomorrow he'll be eating more and not so crabby. :)
Hi J.. Congrats on your baby and you are a great momma for asking. Yes. After these early vacs, all is normal. Keep cudding and nursing when needed to let her know that all is secure and safe in her world, despite any changes she may feel in her body with the vac.

Yup! It's perfectly normal. A lot of times the shots make them grouchy or tired. As long as the baby is having wet and dirty diapers and is crying tears, you'll be fine. Give it a day or so and it should pass. Be prepared for some VERY long nursing sessions :D
My DD was *very* crabby, and lost her appetite for about 2 days after her 2 month shots... Her 4 month shots were a lot easier though. :)
My son almost slept for 24 hrs after his shots, he would nurse and then right back to sleep. 4months was a lot easier. you hardly knew he got them.
my youngest was sleepy after them so he nursed a little less bc he wasn't awake.
