I know someone asked a question about this show last week...but...What did you fans think of the season finale? My jaw drops to the floor even thinking of the final scene :-) I only watch a couple of shows per season (currently it is this, Dexter and Boardwalk Empire) but rarely do I get to see them live., which is why I am asking this a couple of days late. I finally watched the finale and can't stop thinking "wow." Best writing on tv …. I am typically pretty good at predicting what will happen in a show but I never saw this coming. What did you think?
it was amazing!! i just watched it today too...thank you dvr :) lol i also watch dexter & boardwalk..but omg, i still can't believe walter... man...

The best show on TV, hands down. Blows my mind. Yeah---thinking who Walt was in season 1 to now (which in their world is only like a year or so ago), how much he changed is crazy. First, I was totally blown away when Gus walked out and straightened his tie, a total "yougottabekiddinme" moment for a second. Then Brock wasn't poisoned with risin....I thought "Oh, but it was still Gus, right? He was just testing Jesse to see...." But the final scene, my husband who is ridiculously good (annoyingly so) at predicting everything in the world, even my husband was like "Wait. What? Dude."
You can tell they thought it may be the last episode ever and it was a possible series finale. But because I'm that nerd that gets the email updates, a month or so ago, they WERE granted 1 last season. A 16 episode season coming up "someday" that is supposed to wrap up the whole thing. (I seriously hope it won't be over a year like this last season was, but I think it was worth it when we finally got to see it!) I'm already speculating, lol. It is a good show though.
Every single week when we turn it on, at some point in the show my husband will say "This is the one show worth actually buying" (he doesn't understand buying DVDs because..."you've seen them") and I just pretend to be all involved in the show and not listening to him. But I bought seasons 1-3 and preordered 4, for a Christmas gift. :P
We loved it. One of the best seasons and season finales that we've seen. We love to pause the DVR and talk about the scenes we just saw, and try to guess what's going to happen..which we did :) But what an amazing season!! I can't wait to see what they think of next!
It was an awesome season finale.
I so miss Deadwood, the HBO western, it had excellent writers too.
I hope Breaking Bad sticks around, but I have a feeling the story is just about told out now. It is a very well written, dramatic series to say the least.
I was reading the replies very carefully since I haven't seen the finale yet! Have it recorded. Definitely one of my favorite shows! I hear it had only one season left but they are breaking it up so it stretches out over two seasons.
SHOCK! My husband and I were both like "no!" and then "OMG"! ha ha ha - great ending. :)
I couldnt believe it either! I think Walt is just as bad as Gus now!
