I would try the cutlets but first I would call a Lactation specialist and ask them. You can get a number from your OB or google one. they specialize in nursing moms so I would assume they would know.
Hi moms. So I am still nursing, but I am guessing my two different sized boobs are going to stay different sizes even when I stop. Seriously, one is a full cup larger (and about an inch lower) than the other. :( Any of you try those cutlet inserts? I'm thinking I could use just one but I'm not sure how much they add. When I'm just at home I don't care, but when I go out/to work, etc. I want even breasts. Any recommendations for lopsided girls? thanks!

I am on baby #4 of nursing and my boobs are always lopsided. Everytime I quit nursing, they go back to normal in a couple of months. That being said, this fourth time I fear they will stay lopsided. = (
Here is what I have found that helps with the crooked-boob syndrome. I get a padded push up bra and it evens my breasts right out.
I am sure one breast is holding more milk and that will fluctuate in time. Try working more milk out of the smaller breast. It should begin to produce more, and ta-da it should be bigger.
They should be close to normal when you are done nursing. I would be careful putting that cutlet in there. Even the wrong bra threw my boobs into a plugged duct...OUCH!
Go to Penney's and ask a bra fitter what will work best for you. The inserts will usually make up for a half cup difference, so you could use both in one cup. They may stay uneven, most women are uneven size. Be sure you fit to the larger size and then use fillers for the smaller. If you use the molded bras it isn't as noticable.
I got a pair at target. They had sizes you could choose from. I used them in my swimsuit.
