Has anyone ever had a large bday party at one of those bouncing places? Which on is economically the best or tell me bout your experience please. I hate making the bday party decisions, I stress every year!!

What can I do next?

Hi L.,

Actually Pump It Up is not much more than the place the other mom mentioned and it includes Pizza and Pop. I just had my sons 5th birthday party there and they do a fantastic job. You basically just get to sit back, relax and enjoy while their staff handles everything.

What about renting a bouncer for your house? We are having my daughters birthday party at the end of June and have rented a castle bouncer for $99. Let me know if you'd like the number by sending a private message through Mamasource.

Good Luck,

I had my daughters 9th Birthday at Bouncin Kidz (Groesbeck by Morleys). It was nice. With the extra pizza it ran us around 325-350. Which seems like a lot but in the end we did not have to have a second party for family. She was able to invite friends and family. They are really nice because they do everything for you. You can actually sit back and relax.

I have also been to a couple of partys at Pump it Up. When I priced both places pricing was basically the same.

Good Luck

I had my sons 3rd b-day at the bouncing place in Clinton Twp off Hall right- behind Morely Candy. (Sorry I can't think of the name). I don't remember exactly how much it was-- I think around $300. We did not do pizza or other food, just drinks and cake. The kids bounced for 1 1/2 hours--- which I thought was going to be way too long...but they loved it.

It was a really great time...but I still think it was expensive. It was cheaper than Pump It Up though.

There is a new bounce house I think it is called Bounce U in Troy on Rochester Rd. They may have better prices.

We did a party at Bouncin Kidz (behind Morley Candy)at M59 and Groesbeck. Though a little more on the expensive side. Around $300 with Pizza and pop. We brough in our own cake and icecream. It was nice because we had 15 kids and 22 adults. One party and no clean up. However after bouncin for 1 1/2 hours we did feel a little rushed when it came to the time we had to eat pizza, cake and ice cream and open gifts.(maybe an hour) This place also had two big slides, and an obstacle course and a few other activities and our group got to spend time in both rooms. The kids loved it.

The year before we used a bouncing place at 19 & Van Dyke (down the industrial street near all the tile stores) Sorry I can't remember the name, but there they just had the bouncers but also other games, it was cheaper than Bouncin Kidz and we brought in our own pizza, pop, snacks there. Hope this helps
